Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo buys penthouse in Bay Harbor Islands

Another soccer legend is putting roots down in South Florida.  Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, known as Ronaldo, paid $7.8 million for a penthouse at Onda, a waterfront condo development at 1135 103rd Street. Property records show the developer sold the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom condo to a Delaware company managed by Ronaldo.  The retired striker, who played for his native country of Brazil, is considered one of the greatest players of all time.
