Colombian developer sells waterfront La Gorce Island home for $33M
Colombian businessman Jorge Mattos and his wife, Patricia, sold their waterfront home on Miami Beach’s La Gorce Island for $32.7 million. The sale of 68 La Gorce Circle, to a land trust, marks the highest per-square-foot land deal in the city, according to listing broker Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty. It surpasses the Witkoff Group’s $1,370-per-square-foot sale of the waterfront lot at 4766 North Bay Road in June. A trust in the names of Jorge E. Mattos Barrero and Sofia Patricia Toja Mondragon sold their 6,116-square-foot, five-bedroom and five-and-a-half-bathroom house to 68 LGC Revocable Trust, records show.
