One Sotheby’s shoots for stars in relaunch of sports and entertainment division
One Sotheby’s International Realty relaunched its sports and entertainment division. The Coconut Grove-based brokerage, led by Daniel and Mayi de la Vega, tapped Chris Anthony as managing director of the division, which is geared toward providing concierge services to athletes, celebrities and other high-profile clients, Anthony said. He is senior vice president of the firm’s northern division. De la Vega, president of One Sotheby’s, said Anthony brought him the idea to relaunch the division in a sustainable way. “These sports and entertainment divisions come to market, and they just kind of fizzle out,” de la Vega said.
