🏆 Residential: The top home sale recorded in South Florida was in Bal Harbour, where a waterfront home at 216 Bal Bay Drive changed hands for just under $29 million. A trust tied to Luis Arevalo sold the property to a trust managed by attorney Mark Meland. Built in the 1950s, the property spans about 3,000 square feet and has three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The seller purchased it in 2015 for $7.5 million. The property’s last asking price was $29.9 million.
