Billionaire hedge funder Ken Griffin closed on his purchase of Mana Wynwood for $1.1 billion, an all-cash deal that has been in the works for roughly three years. Investor and developer Moishe Mana sold the property, Mana confirmed to The Real Deal in a sit-down interview. Griffin and Carnegie Mellon University announced plans to open a satellite campus on a 35-acre site in the Miami neighborhood, as part of a $3 billion gift Griffin made to the university.
