Longpoint beefs up Miami-Dade industrial portfolio with $195M acquisition

Longpoint Partners, one of the most active warehouse owners in South Florida, acquired a 10-building Miami-Dade warehouse portfolio in a nine-figure deal. The Boston-based real estate private equity firm paid $195 million for 730,000 square feet of small-bay warehouse space, or $267 per square foot, across 42 acres in Miami-Dade industrial submarkets, according to a company news release.  The portfolio was 90 percent leased at the time of the acquisition, with 74 tenants averaging close to 10,000 square feet each, according to the release.
