Dog track site goes to resi in Kadima Developers’ Hallandale Beach plans

A Hallandale Beach developer is betting on the former Big Easy Casino parking lot, where he plans two residential buildings and retail space designed by SKLARchitecture. Alejandro Chaberman’s Kadima Developers and Mateo Pugliese-Bassi’s Persea Ventures plan a development called Greenzone, at 501 Northeast 7th Street in Hallandale Beach. The eight-story buildings will have 278 residential units and almost 18,000 square feet of retail, Floridian Development reported.
