Sergio Pino’s widow, brother settle battle over late developer’s estate
A Miami-Dade judge approved a settlement agreement between Tatiana Pino’s family and her brother-in-law Carlos Pino over the multimillion-dollar estate of the late Sergio Pino. Sergio Pino, the founder and former CEO of Century Homebuilders Group, died by suicide last year as the FBI was closing in to arrest him for allegedly orchestrating multiple attempts to kill his estranged wife, Tatiana Pino. The settlement, approved on Wednesday by Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Yvonne Colodny, removes Carlos Pino’s original claim that he should be the personal representative for Sergio Pino’s estate, the Miami Herald reported.
