Miami-Dade’s top 10 CRE sales near $1B through mid-year
Miami-Dade County megadeals in the first half of the year showed that the office market is far from dead. The county’s 10 largest deals totaled $974.9 million, according to a mid-year report from Dwntwn Realty Advisors, authored by the firm’s Bertille Mezaguer. It tracked commercial sales of $1 million or more across 36 submarkets in Miami-Dade. The biggest was Chicago-based Sterling Bay’s $181 million sale of the 545wyn office building in Wynwood, purchased by billionaire hedge fund titan Ken Griffin and Goldman Properties, one of the neighborhood’s largest property owners.
