Stonerock loses downtown office buildings in $66M foreclosure
Two downtown Miami office buildings are headed to auction next month after landlord Stonerock Capital lost a $65.7 million foreclosure judgment. Atlanta-based Ardent Companies provided Stonerock with a $58.3 million mortgage to buy the buildings in 2022, the South Florida Business Journal reported. Boca Raton-based Stonerock, led by Yaakov “Jacob” Handelsman, and its then-partner, Delray Beach-based Triple Double Real Estate paid $56.7 million for the properties, The Real Deal previously reported.
